Thermal Expansion Insulating Felt
Manufactured from glass fiber felt impregnated with adhesive and pressed into a loose sheet. Capable of thermal expansion, often used as a loose-fitting liner between internal components of motors. This includes filling and bonding gaps between various motor components, such as coils and cores, coils and slot wedges, adjacent windings, and joints between parallel winding ends. During the heating and curing process of the motor's overall impregnation with insulation varnish, the thermal expansion felt expands to fill the gaps, and its loose structure captures the insulation varnish. After curing, the insulation varnish bonds adjacent components into a cohesive unit. This product is particularly suitable for vacuum pressure impregnation systems and addressing slot wedge looseness issues.
