Composite Materials Frames for Photovoltaic Modules

Bofay photovoltaic modules use composite material frames, which are profiles with a special cross-sectional shape made of glass fiber-reinforced composite materials. The frames are formed by surface spraying and combining after a 45-degree angle cut, serving as the framework for rectangular photovoltaic modules. Each set of frames consists of 4 profiles and 4 corner codes, used for the fixation of solar cell modules. According to tests conducted by professional organizations, during dynamic load testing, the composite material frames exhibited no cracking or detachment, and the energy loss of the photovoltaic modules was very low (0.51%).

Main Components

2 long sides, 2 short sides, 4 corner codes.

Product Features

Composite material frame with lightweight, high strength, good insulation, excellent PID resistance, aging resistance, corrosion resistance, temperature resistance, low thermal expansion coefficient, and cost-effectiveness. Compared with traditional aluminum alloy frames, the composite material frame not only reduces the risk of silicon wafer cracking but also has excellent salt spray corrosion resistance. As the composite material frame is an insulating material, it can effectively block leakage paths and reduce the cost of the film.
